Amrita Bagchi, an accomplished actor and a skilled writer, was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She commenced her acting career in 2010 with the film "Dhobi Ghat" and has since showcased her talent in various roles.

In 2016, she played the Bride in the short video "Hero Motocorp: Hero Duet" and portrayed Jiah in "Phobia" alongside Radhika Apte.

Her diverse roles include Maulshree in "Meri Pyaari Bindu" and Mumtaz in "Dust." Bagchi made her television debut in 2015 as Mrinaal in "Stories by Rabindranath Tagore" and took on the lead role of Katrina in Disney+ Hotstar's "City of Dreams" in 2019.

She also featured in nine episodes of Netflix's "Hasmukh."
